Second Suite: Queen bed with full-size bunk on top, full bath with shower. Wall-mounted tv, ceiling fan, sound machine, wardrobe, luggage rack.

Basement Suite: Accessed by exterior staircase. Queen bed, full sized bunk on top, full bath with shower. Sound machine, luggage rack, closet. Attached sitting area with tv and foosball.

The Property

The Emerald is set on 30 acres of mature woods. The retreat is perched on the edge of a ravine overlooking a creek and cave. Guests are free to explore the woods and splash along the bedrock creek.

Truth in Advertising

Prior to booking guests should fully understand all the details of The Emerald. The basement bedroom is accessed by exterior staircase and door that is not covered, there is no interior connection to the first floor. This bedroom would not be suitable for small children.

There is a 250 lb. weight limit for the top bunk beds and a 600 lb. combined limit for the entire bunk.

The property is wild, abound with animals, bees, mosquitos and potentially dangerous terrain. We ask that any guests who wish to explore the property, including the ravine stairs, sign a liability waiver. Guests are not required to sign the waiver, but are then asked to limit your activities to the cabin, decks and parking area.

Dogs are permitted but must be well-trained, maximum of two. Dogs are not allowed on any of the furniture and their paws must be wiped off before entry the cabin each time.

The driveway has an uphill grade. It can be accessed by any vehicle, including our Prius. In the winter months we are fully committed to maintaining access for guests in the event of inclement weather. However, guests who are not willing to exercise patience in these rare circumstances may want to consider another rental. A 4WD vehicle should be able to access the driveway in all but the most extreme snow and ice conditions.

While our location is convenient to many attractions, guests should research our proximity to specific attractions they wish to visit.
